Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist assist the priest in distributing the Eucharist during Mass. Lay Ministers are commissioned and trained in our parish after having participated in a class which is presented by the diocese. Lay Ministers can also assist in bringing the Eucharist on a regular basis to the sick of the parish, both at home and in nursing homes.
