Welcome to Saint Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville, Ohio!

An Easter Message from Our Pastor

C.S Lewis, a tutor and lecturer at Oxford, had begun to show some interest in Christianity. The comment by an atheist colleague moved to faith in Christ. As they discussed the “dying and rising god” myths of the ancient world, Lewis’ friend commented, “…though with Jesus, it seems as if it might have happened.”

After his own study, CS Lewis concluded that it really did happen. And what kept CS Lewis’ atheistic friend from really believing? Perhaps it was his prejudice against anything that was not scientifically explicable.
